Arklow Town Under 10B 2 Newtown 4
From the blow of the first whistle this was a hard match with most of the game being played with Arklow on the defence. Newtown were quick to score keeping the pressure on and were quick to score again. Arklow came back into the game with some great passing with Ryan Kenny putting the ball into the back of the net.
2 1 going into the second half Arklow Town fought on with a great kick from Shane Parle bringing the score to 2 2, we were back in the game but Newtown proved to be the stronger team on the day, the final score was 4 2 to Newtown.
