  6s And 7s Club

The 6s and 7s Club - returning on March 27.

Mar 4 6s and 7s Club a matter of weeks away:  all set for kick off!
The winter hibernation is soon to end and the return of the immensely popular 6s and 7s Club is just a matter of THREE WEEKS around the corner!  Interest in the resumption of this season's 6s and 7s Club has been greater than ever, partially due to the success of the inaugural running of the club prior to Christmas.  Indeed, such was the success of the club that not one but FOUR teams were then entered into non-competitive WDSL action post Christmas.  It was with great excitement that four new Arklow Town teams (U8D, U8E, U8F and U8G) all took their first tentative steps into organised football.  The most important date for your diaries is MARCH 27.  The 6s and 7s Club re-opens its doors on Saturday, March 27 between 10.00am and 11.00am, at Knockenrahan.  Important to note that registration for the post-Christmas running of the club commences at 9.45am on the day so please arrive early.  And ENJOY.....!

Moving indoors for seven weeks - the 6's and 7's Club

Sep 29 New season 6's and 7's to move indoors
A fabulous start to this year's initial 6's and 7's Club at the Leisure Centre last Saturday, with more than 40 children registering for the Saturday morning fun and football club.  This year, with on-going redevelopment work at Bridgewater Centre Park, the club has relocated (temporarily!) to the Leisure Centre - so it is vitally important that all budding footballers know they're at the right location and not standing outside the gates at Lamberton wondering where everyone else is!

Commencing this Saturday, October 3, for the next seven weeks, the 6's and 7's Club is moving indoors at the Leisure Centre, with the children being split into two seperate groups.

Children born in 2001 and 2002 are to participate in the first session between 10.00am and 11.00am.  The following are requested to attend this first session:

Iarla O'Donnell, Dylan Byrne, Niall Delahunt, Jamie Flynn, Keelan Walker-Moore, Aaron Bermingham, Cathal Byrne, Leigh Kelly-Nolan, Justin Cannon, Cillian Doyle, Conor O'Brien, Adam Long, Craig Kavanagh, Conor Fleming, Matthew Burke.

Children born in 2003 and 2004 are to participate in the second session between 11.00am and 12.00pm.  The following are requested to attend this session:

Eabha Siun Fleming, Bobby Desmond, Kym Behan, Páidi Kavanagh, Pádraic Bermingham, Ryan Scanlon, Ethan Watters, Eoin O'Neill, Ross Breen, Leon Barnes, Patrick O'Halloran, Euan Fogarty, Darragh Synnott, Aaron Finnegan, Jordan O'Neill, Gavin Walker, Jack Kavanagh, Conor Mahon, Sean O'Neill, Kyle Nolan, Conor Nugent, Reily Hogan, Sean Breen, Liam Shaw, Eimhin McCormack, Luke Scanlon.

Spread the word - the 6's and 7's Club is BACK - and the door is always open!

All set for another fun season of 6's and 7's Club - starting this coming Saturday, September 26.

Sep 21 2009 6s and 7s re-opens for business this weekend
Arklow Town Football Club's 6's and 7's Club swings oncemore into action, kicking off next Saturday morning at the Leisure Centre. With ground redevelopment on-going at Lamberton a change in venue for the ever popular Saturday morning club is required and with this season's first ten week programme all boys and girls are asked to attend at the Leisure Centre where the fun and football will commence at 10.00am and run till 11.00am. All boys and girls born in years 2002 and 2003 are welcome to attend. Membership of the 6s and 7s Club is €20 per child. Registration will commence at 9.30am. All children participating in the 6's and 7's Club are requested to wear suitable clothing and to bring a non-fizzy drink.

One Summer Camp just ended today - the return of the 6's and 7's Club is now only weeks away!

Aug 7 2009 6's and 7's Club details to be announced soon
With the immensely successful Summer Camp just ended today, in glorious sunshine at Lamberton, all eyes now turn to the upcoming season, with team selection due within days and also the ever successful 6's and 7's Club programme of events to be formalised.  Last season's 6's and 7's Club was the best yet, with record numbers attending.  With the success of the Saturday club the last ten week programme was extended.  Details for this year's 6's and 7's Club will appear here soon.  Feedback so far on this week's Summer Camp has been excellent, with the only disappointment being that the camp was not extended for another seven days or more!

All feedback is welcome and you can contact us via the comment box below.
