July 27 Town duo sign for UCD
James Scallan and Daniel Ledwith have signed for UCD and will now play for the Students in the Airtricity U20 League. Both players signed amateur terms last night with the Dublin club after UCD first team manager Martin Russell's lengthy pursuit of the duo. The Arklow duo had delayed signing for UCD due to club committments with Town's U19's at the recent Foyle Cup tournament in Derry. Both players will line out alongside clubmate Dara Verney who joined the Students just last month. All at Arklow Town Football Club are delighted to see the progress being made by both players, in accordance with the player development plan at the club. The duo, both key figures in Town's historic LFA Youth Cup win last month, are set for debuts tomorrow evening when UCD face Shamrock Rovers in an Airtricity U20 League pool 3 clash. We wish the duo well.
July 24 Penalties deny 12's as 14's finish on a high
Arklow Town U12's ended their debut at the Foyle Cup with an appearance in the Plate Final against Downpatrick Youth League earlier today. The match ended 3-3, with Town's goals coming from Ross Hanley, Liam Scales and Mikey Quigley. Penalties were required to determine a Plate Winner with Downpatrick prevailing from the spot in an exciting decider. Earlier in the day, Town's 14's brought down the curtain on their own Foyle Cup campaign with a convincing 4-1 win over Lisnaskea.
July 23 12's reach Plate Final as 19's land third place finish
Again, four games played by Arklow Town sides in today's Foyle Cup action, with the 12's playing two games, facing Belfast club St. Oliver Plunkett in the morning, winning 1-0 with a Conor Dodd goal. Later in the day they faced Letterkenny in the Plate semi final and eased to a 4-0 win with goals from Conor Byrne, Liam Scales, Stewart Mills and Ross Hanley. The U14's lost their Foyle Shield semi final on penalties to Carnbane Youth League after a 1-1 draw, with Kyle Hilliard netting for Town. The U19's ended their Foyle Cup campaign with a thorough 4-0 win over Institute. Adam Hanlon put Town into a first half lead with Clive Crammond (2) and Peter Walker adding second half goals.
July 22 Doyle hat trick puts 14's into Shield semi final on disappointing day for Town
Four games played today involving Arklow Town sides, with the 14's in action twice and both 12's and 19's following. Town's 14's faced group leaders Linfield needing nothing less than a win to maintain hopes of topping the group. However, Linfield won the game 2-0 leaving Town to compete in the Shield competition. They faced Coleraine in the Shield quarter final later in the day and won that contest 5-0 with Cillian Doyle bagging a hat trick. The 12's faced group leaders Dungannon United needing a win to preserve their own Foyle Cup ambitions. Ross Hanley scored for Town in a 1-1 draw, leaving Town to compete in the Foyle Plate competition, due to face Belfast side St. Oliver Plunkett tomorrow morning in the quarter final. Lastly, major disappointment tonight at the Brandywell Showgrounds for Town's U19 side, facing hosts and holders Derry City in the Foyle Cup semi final. After a tense 0-0 stalemate penalties were needed to seperate the sides with, unfortunately, the home team prevailing from the spot. In keeping with the other ties mentioned here, no match report available. Town now face Institute tomorrow evening in the 3/4th place play off, a 7pm kick off at Templemore Swilly.
July 21 Dramatic night in Derry as Kelty spot kick puts Town into Foyle Cup semi final
High drama indeed tonight in Derry with a late late show from Town's U19's securing a place in tomorrow's Foyle Cup semi final, where a re-run of last season's meeting with holders and hosts Derry City awaits. Daniel Ledwith gave Town a perfect start, firing home a free kick in the 20th minute. Morecambe levelled though just five minutes later with a deflected goal and the deadlock remained unbroken till the dying moments. With Oxford United thumping Ballymoor Colts 4-0 it meant that Town needed to win to secure a semi final place. Penalty to Town! Up stepped wing wizard Jonathan Kelty to smash home the pressure spot kick to send Town into the semi final. Brilliant! The U14's were forced to settle for a share of the spoils with Limavady United in their second outing. Having edged ahead with a Kaelim Broughan header in the opening half, Town failed to press their advantage, forced to settle for a draw. Disappointment however for Town's U12's with a somewhat surprise defeat against Belfast's Shankill Youth. Both U12's and U14's can still progress as group winners. To see the current state of play and what's required for both teams to progress as group winners click here for the breakdown in advance of tomorrow's key games.
July 20 Stylish Town sides win on the double
Two great wins earlier this evening for Arklow Town's U12's and U19's, against Ballymoney Select and Oxford United respectively. The U12's opened their Foyle Cup campaign with a convincing 4-1 win over the northern side - goals from Conor Byrne, Mikey Quigley, Liam Scales and Calem Devereux easing Town to a fine win and a positive start. They now face Shankill Youth tomorrow afternoon seeking to make it two from two. Over in the Brandywell Showgrounds Town's U19's won the key Group A game against Oxford United, with Daniel Ledwith heading home the only goal of the game to put Town into pole position going into the last group games tomorrow. If Town can defeat English side Morecambe then they are through to the Foyle Cup semi final as group winners. All to play for on a very busy Wednesday evening, with the U14's also in action facing Limavady United.
July 20 Opening draws for 19's and 14's
Arklow Town U19's and U14's have opened their Foyle Cup campaigns with draws against Ballymoor Colts and Ferencvaros respectively. The U19's were first in action last night, facing local side Ballymoor Colts at Oaklands Park in Derry. Two goals from Clive Crammond and Paul Barr put Town into an early driving seat. Frustration grew though with two goals disallowed and then the Derry side hauled themselves back into the tie with two goals of their own, leaving the opening game a 2-2 draw. Earlier this afternoon Town's U14's were in action facing famous Hungarian club Ferencvaros. The game ended in a creditable 0-0 stalemate with keeper Aaron Jackson excellent between the posts. Town's U12 side are in action later this evening, facing Ballymoney Select and the U19's are involved in a must-win game against Oxford United.
July 19 Town kick off Foyle Cup campaign tonight

The Foyle Cup is Ireland's premier youth tournament and this year's 18th annual tournament sees 144 teams participating. Arklow Town Under 19's kick off their campaign at 7pm this evening, facing Derry side Ballymoor Colts, at the Oaklands ground. Sixteen year old Alan Sunderland has been drafted into the Town squad. The teenager has been phenomenal in training and is pushing hard for inclusion in the starting XI. Midfielder Domhnall Minogue remains an injury doubt for Town. Match details to follow later this evening. The Under 14's kick off tomorrow afternoon against Hungarian giants Ferencvaros (3.45pm kick off), with the Under 12's in action against Ballymore Select at 5.15pm.
July 18 Club trial dates for new season confirmed
Arklow Town Football Club will host schoolboy/girl trials for the forthcoming season, 2010-11, over five evenings next month. Commencing on Monday, August 9, trials will begin for schoolboys/girls aged between 8 and 10. Over recent years the continuing growth at these levels has been noticeable with an annual increase in numbers participating in the younger age categories. At Under 8 level alone, the Club had seven teams participating in WDSL competition last season. The Club trials are open to everyone and we always welcome new members. Arklow Town Football Club now caters for more than 500 schoolchildren alone, from the ever-popular 6's and 7's Club, through the Girls Academy and across the many age levels, our teams competing successfully within WDSL football, and beyond. Our continuing association with Sheffield United and the Club's noted player pathway, aligned with a soon to be redeveloped Bridgewater Centre Park, sees the Club to the forefront of football here in Wicklow. We look forward to welcoming old and new faces to the Club Trials in early August. Click here for further details. See you there!
July 10 Town quartet earn call up into FAI Development Programme
A quartet of Arklow Town Under 12 players have been invited to participate in a pilot scheme for a FAI Under 12 Development programme. The players - Leslie Sharp, Dáire O'Conchubhair, Darren Furlong and Peter Sherwood - have been invited to attend four training sessions throughout the month of July, with the sessions taking place at Gorey Celtic's Umbro Park ground at Mullawnfin, just outside the Wexford town. The first session has already taken place, on July 7, with the three remaining sessions on July 14, 21 and 28. The four players are also members of the WDSL U13 squad that will travel west, to Galway, in August, to participate in the Umbro Galway Cup. The Wicklow side will compete in the Boys Elite section alongside seven other teams.
July 10 Town sides set for Foyle Cup action
Just ten days to go before the 18th annual Foyle Cup kicks off in Derry city and surrounding area. The tournament, one of the largest in Europe, takes place over five days, from July 20 through to July 24 though this year's Under 19 section kicks off on Monday evening, July 19th, with Arklow Town Under 19's in action, facing northern side Ballyclare Comrades. Similar to last season's tournament Arklow Town will have three teams competing, at Under 12, Under 14 and Under 19 levels. We preview each team's opening group fixtures here. Coverage of all games will appear here throughout the tournament and our updates will be frequent. Best of luck to our competing sides.
July 8 Shane selected for FAI Emerging Talent squad
Town's Shane Walker has been called up into the FAI Emerging Talent squad that will take part in next month's Umbro Galway Cup, which takes place between August 4th and 7th. The tournament, now in its sixth year, is divided into four age categories, with Shane donning the Irish shirt in the Under 15 Elite Section. The Irish squad will face Ipswich Town, Norwegian side Stabaek and Welsh club Bangor City in their opening Group A fixtures. Group B contains defending champions Leicester City, Cherry Orchard, Aberdeen and Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna Boys. Shane follows in the footsteps of now former Arklow Town clubmate Aaron Barry who featured in the FAI's Emerging Talent squad back in 2007 at the same tournament. The WDSL U13 squad will also participate in the Umbro Cup, playing in the Boys Elite section. Details of this year's tournament can be viewed here.
June 25 Garden County side in full bloom with historic third place finish
In keeping with the dramatic nature of their rise through the tournament the Wicklow WDSL Kennedy Cup squad today secured a best ever third place finish in the competition with another penalty shoot out success, this time defeating the Limerick District League 4-2 on penalties after the match had ended scoreless. A keenly fought play off clash between the sides, defences on top, with neither side able to convert their better chances. Town keeper Aaron Jackon stood firm between the posts to deny the Munster side and once Wicklow's fourth spot kick was converted it was time to rightly celebrate a glorious achievement from all concerned and involved within the Kennedy Cup squad. Our congratulations once again to Paddy Broughan, his management staff, and most importantly the players themselves - players who have represented the WDSL with great distinction this week.
June 25 Lamberton prepares for busy Mini World Cup weekend
This year's Mini World Cup tournament draws to a close this weekend with two days of action-packed football at Bridgewater Centre Park, Lamberton. Saturday sees the Under 10 and Under 12 age categories battling for the honours. This year we will witness numerous finals in both categories. The format in the Under 12 section will follow a similar path with the top two sides meeting to contest the Mini World Cup 2010 Final. No doubt the action will be fast moving, with some excellent performances catching the eye of the watching adjudicators for the Maradona Trophy. The coveted Maradona Trophy is awarded to the boy or girl deemed to be the best player in the tournament. The Under 6's and Under 8's bring the Mini World Cup 2010 to a close on Sunday with action on all four pitches all day long. The Presentation of trophies will commence on Sunday afternoon after the last series of games have been completed. More details here.
June 24 Late goal ends Wicklow's magical Kennedy Cup run
A memorable run in the annual Kennedy Cup was ended for Wicklow's brave squad today with an agonising defeat against South Dublin (SDFL). Trailing to a single first half strike the Wicklow side levelled early in the second half with Greystones United defender Sean Hughes netting his fourth goal of the tournament. With less than two minutes remaining the Dubliners fired home the winning goal to advance to the final. Wicklow will now face Limerick District in tomorrow's 3rd/4th Place play off. Congratulations to our own Arklow Town players in the squad and indeed to manager Paddy Broughan and his entire squad. A wonderful achievement, Wicklow's best ever run in the Kennedy Cup and a further reminder to all that Wicklow schoolboy football remains in a healthy condition.
June 23 Wicklow team one step away from Kennedy Cup Final
High drama once again at Limerick University today as Wicklow faced Donegal in their first ever Kennedy Cup quarter final appearance. The Ulster side arguably enjoyed the clearer chances in a tight 0-0 draw, with Wicklow keeper Tommy Dunne in brilliant form. With the deadlock remaining unbroken penalties were required, with Dunne once again taking centre stage, saving three of Donegal's first four penalties to seal Wicklow's place in tomorrow's semi final. Wicklow will face strong near neighbours South Dublin (SDFL) in the semi final with Limerick District facing DDSL in the other semi final. Indeed, three of the four quarter finals were decided on penalty shoot outs enforcing the belief that this year's Kennedy Cup is going to go right to the wire!
June 22 Historic win sees Wicklow advance to Kennedy Cup quarter final
The WDSL Kennedy Cup squad held their nerve earlier this evening to book a place in the last eight of the Kennedy Cup, as Group 6 winners, with a hard earned 3-1 win over Cavan at Limerick University. Going into this evening's last round of group fixtures, Wicklow held a slender one point advantage over the fancied Cork side knowing a win in tonight's clash with Cavan would see them advance to the quarter final. A tense game, Wicklow edged ahead with Greystones United defender Sean Hughes opening the scoring. Cavan levelled before a further two strikes from Wicklow, with Hughes himself netting a memorable hat trick, secured a notable victory. Wicklow will now face Donegal in the quarter final to be played tomorrow. Congratulations to our own seven Arklow Town players involved within the squad, and indeed to all playing their part for Wicklow football down in Limerick.
June 22 Murphy strike places Wicklow on the verge
Great excitement at Limerick University today with action in Group 6 of this season's Kennedy Cup seeing Wicklow topping the group after the second series of games played. A satisfactory 0-0 draw in last evening's opening encounter with Limerick County saw the Garden County youngsters facing fancied Cork in today's midday clash needing to win after the Leesiders had dismantled Cavan 4-0 in their opening tie. Arklow Town's Cormac Murphy earned a priceless win for Wicklow with a direct strike from a corner kick. With Cavan beating Limerick County in today's other fixture it tees up tonight's last round of group fixtures, with table-toppers Wicklow knowing a win over Cavan will see them advance into the last eight. Wicklow face Cavan at 7pm and we will have an update here later this evening. Good luck Wicklow!
June 21 Aaron signs for Sheffield United
Another great show at the End of Season Presentation Awards for season 2009/10 in the Arklow Bay Hotel earlier this evening, with defender Aaron Barry taking centre stage, signing professional terms with Sheffield United on the main stage. A proud moment indeed for Aaron, his family and all associated with Arklow Town FC as he put pen to paper with Blades trio, Carl Schieber, Greg Batten and new Academy manager John Pemberton, securing a contract that takes the popular defender across the water to commence a new beginning at the Yorkshire club's Academy. Aaron has just completed a wonderful season where he has been capped at international level and closer to home he has been a pivotal figure in Town's LFA Youth Cup success and also with the Wicklow side that reached the FAI Inter-League final last month. Further coverage on this evening's celebration of Town's success at senior and junior level in the Arklow Bay Hotel to follow.

June 13 History makers at Dalymount - Simply The Best
History was made at Dalymount Park earlier this afternoon as Arklow Town Youths landed the Leinster Football Association FA Youth Cup in nail-biting drama. The Final, versus Dublin's St. Kevin's Boys, had somehow ended scoreless after ninety dramatic minutes and extra time had failed to seperate the two teams. Town had spurned a succession of scoring opportunities, notably in the second half, and when the dreaded lottery of penalties to determine a winner arrived there were very few inside Dalymount Park not feeling the pressure. Up stepped Town keeper Cormac O'Brien to make two of the best saves of his life, initially saving the Dublin side's third spot kick. To heighten the drama, St. Kevin's, with their last spot kick, still had an opportunity to win but the spot kick was sent the wrong side of O'Brien's left post, and wide. Aaron Barry showed nerves of steel to place home with Arklow's last spot kick, to send the Final into a sudden death shoot out. 'Iceman' James Scallan fired home after Kevin's initial penalty was converted. Keeper O'Brien then made an magnificent save, their seventh spot kick, and the stage was set for Keith Armstrong to win the cup for Town. Armstrong duly fired home, to win the cup and to spark just the most glorious of celebrations on and off the pitch. A wonderful moment for all concerned with not just the team, but the Club. The dramatic penalty shoot out can be viewed here.
June 13 Magnificent comeback sees Town 15's land Premier league title
The very last fixture in the WDSL season ended in dramatic jubilation for Town's U15's, facing Rathnew in a Premier Division league title play off at Newtown earlier today. Having been beaten by today's opposition in last week's Shield Final at the Carlisle Ground in Bray the team were keen to atone matters in today's meeting. However, Town were one down after just three minutes and two down before half time, leaving the Black and Whites with a mountain to climb. That they duly did, in magnificent style. Craig Kinsella pulled one back from a Shane Walker cross and midfielder Cormac Breslin levelled with a free kick with ten minutes remaining. Lee Kenny put Town's name on the trophy with a stunning goal just three minutes from time to spark wild Arklow celebrations. Match report to follow.
June 10 BREAKING NEWS! Mini World Cup takes centre stage in Lamberton
The 33rd Annual Mini World Cup will take place later this month at Bridgewater Centre Park in Lamberton. Plans to switch the ever-popular tournament to Knockenrahan, where it had been held previously, have been shelved with the main pitch at Lamberton now available after off-season maintenance. No doubt the news will be warmly received by players and parents alike and we hope to see a packed main stand on both weekends as the children take to their very own Field of Dreams with the Mini World Cup commencing on Saturday, June 19. Please advise anyone you know who has already registered to participate in the tournament - we're in Lamberton, not Knockenrahan!
June 10 Last chance to register for the Mini World Cup
Your last chance to register for this year's Mini World Cup takes place in the clubhouse at Lamberton between 3pm and 5pm. This is the third successive Saturday afternoon and we hope to see all those who have not yet registered coming forward and signing up for what will no doubt be two highly successful weekends of fun and football for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 12. Let the fun and football commence.
June 9 Town set for historic Youth Final - your support is required!
The curtain comes down on season 2009/10 in the most fitting of settings next Sunday afternoon as Town's Youth team take centre stage at the traditional home of Irish football - Dalymount Park. Arklow Town youths are set to face Dublin side St. Kevin's Boys in the Leinster FA Youth Cup Final at the home of Bohemians Football Club and it should prove to be a landmark day for the Club. Indeed, this is the very first time a club from Wicklow has reached the prestigious showpiece fixture in the LFA calendar. Town's run to the Final has seen them ease past the likes of Bohemians, Shamrock Rovers and Crumlin United. Support for the team, and indeed the Club, is essential. A bus is leaving the car park at Tesco Supermarket on the Wexford Road at midday on Sunday. Kick off in Dalymount Park is at 3pm. To reserve your place on the bus please contact Brendan Kenny at 083 3684003. The bus costs €5 per person and admission into Dalymount Park is free for children and just €5 for adults. Sunday's Final promises to be a fabulous occasion and this is a glorious opportunity for Arklow Town Football Club to showcase on the national stage the endeavour on-going at the Club. €5? Just do it! And enjoy a great day at the home of Irish football! Contact Brendan Kenny - again, 083 3684003. Places are limited so reserve your seat as early as possible. C'mon The Town!
June 9 Town's 9B's finish season on a high to secure Runners Up place
What a finish to the season for Town's 9B team! Needing to win their last few league fixtures simply to force a play off with long time second placed Greystones United, the 9B's duly obliged with a show of character in their final fixtures, securing the necessary points to force this evening's play off, played at Finlay Park in Wicklow. Town made the perfect start with Jack White hammering home inside two minutes. Keeper Luke Delaney then doubled Town's lead (yes, you read that right!) with a long kick out sailing downfield, one hop and over the keeper into an empty net. Ben Kavanagh then fired a third Arklow goal on the stroke of half time to effectively put the game beyond Greystones. Credit the opposition who never gave up and they were rewarded with a consolation goal on the stroke of full time. Match report here.
June 9 Good wishes to all students facing State exams
All at the Club wish those commencing State exams today all the very best. Lightheartedly, one wonders what's more daunting - a dramatic penalty shoot out or a Maths Paper 1 and 2! We have a number of players beginning examinations at both Leaving and Junior Cert today, and no doubt the sun will shine through school windows as it always does at this time of year. If all students apply themselves to their examinations as they have done with their football over this past season then everyone will achieve their academic rewards. We wish you well.
June 7 13's land Double in fitting style
Hot on the heels of a convincing WDSL U13 Premier Cup Final success over Ardmore Rovers, Town's 13A's returned to the Carlisle Grounds in Bray earlier today to complete a deserved Double, defeating a gallant Wolfe Tone A 2-0 in a thoroughly entertaining WDSL U13 Premier Shield Final. Keith Byrne opened the scoring for Town in the tenth minute, getting on the end of a through ball from Kyle Hilliard. Town almost doubled their lead before half time with both Dylan Doyle and Cillian Doyle going close. The same pair combined in the second half to extend Town's lead, Cillian firing home from close range to seal victory for Town. Frustration though for Town's U17's, losing their WDFL U17 League title decider play off with Rathnew yesterday evening in Kilcashel, Avoca. Despite dominating play Town went one down before goals from Alan Sunderland and Jack Tim Murphy put Town ahead. A contentious penalty, successfully converted, awarded to Rathnew was compounded with an offside winning goal for the Villagers allowed just three minutes from time. Match report to follow.
June 5 Town land cup from the spot
A dramatic day at the Carlisle Grounds in Bray with cup finals being played at U15 and U16 levels, both finals being Arklow Town v Rathnew clashes. An early goal from James Sheehan fired the 16's into a lead, soon doubled with a speculative Aidan O'Callaghan strike. Rathnew though drew level before half time and without further goals the contest ended level, with extra time failing to seperate the sides. Aidan O'Callaghan stepped up to take Town's fifth spot kick knowing a successful penalty would see Town crowned cup kings and he duly dispatched the ball into the bottom right hand corner. Disappointment though for the 15's, losing 5-1 to Rathnew in the earlier contest, with Cormac Breslin firing home Arklow's only goal. A brace from Darragh Culleton saw the 18A's land the Wicklow U18 Youth Cup against Wicklow Town. Match reports to follow.
June 1 Unbeaten 11's complete Treble in style
Arklow Town U11A were crowned WDSL U11 Premier Division champions earlier tonight with a 4-0 win over runners-up, Greystones United A at the Community College. Town's win sees the team complete a Treble for the second season running. Goals from Liam Scales, Ross Hanley and a brace from Conor Dodd secured the win as Town completed a season with a 100% win record. While celebrations were on-going in Arklow, Town's U9B team were on the road, and winning a crucial last league game of the season away at Wicklow Rovers B, to set up a play off with Greystones United B for the runners-up place in Division 1. Jack White set Town on their way with an early successful penalty before Conor Byrne took centre stage with a timely hat trick. Town's best performance of the season so far. Match report here.
May 30 "Rain stops play!" In May!
Irish summertime never fails to surprise and amidst a good spell of weather comes an overnight torrential downpour, leaving a number of grounds across the county unplayable. The U13 Premier Shield Final involving Town's 13A team and Wolfe Tone A was postponed, as was the decisive league meeting between Town's 11A team and Greystones United A. The 9A's did get to play their Premier Shield Final, against Greystones United A, edged out 3-2 with Town's goals coming from Matthew Dempsey and Liam Coleman. Disappointment too for the 14's, beaten 3-0 at Wicklow Rovers and the 16's, going down 3-1 to Rathnew in their Shield semi final clash. Both 9B and 15's received walkovers to keep league ambitions firmly on course.

League and Shield titles secured for a third successive season, the 12A's added the cup honours with a 2-0 win over Newtown, goals coming from Dáire O'Conchubhair and Mark Keenan. Kyle Hilliard and Fiachra O'hAnnáin fired Town's 13A's to cup success against Ardmore Rovers while the 10A's added cup glory to the league title with a penalty shoot out success against Wicklow Rovers A. Town's 9A's lost out in the cup final on penalties against Greystones United A after an exciting 3-3 draw. Disappointment too for the 12C's who put in a valiant display against Coolboy A, succumbing to two late strikes in extra time in the U12 Division 2 Cup Final. In league action, the 12B's romped to a 9-0 win over Ardmore Rovers A to secure the runners up spot in Division 1, adding to the Plate title won last weekend. Clive Crammond fired Town's 17's ahead in their crucial WDFL U17 League meeting at Rathnew but Town had to settle for a share of the spoils after conceding a late equaliser. Match reports to follow.

A dramatic late goal from Darren Beevor secured the WDSL U12 Premier Shield title for Town's 12A team, beating Newtown 1-0 in a gripping encounter at Whitegates. Beevor's late strike adds the Shield to the League title won earlier in the week. Paul Ryan was on fire for Town's 12B's in a thumping 7-1 win over Enniskerry A at Rathnew, as Town landed the Division 1 Plate. Great disappointment though for both 15's and 13B sides, both losing out in penalty shoot out drama to Wicklow Rovers and Greystones United respectively. The 15's had a Sean Byrne winning goal scratched off as well as seeing Lee Kenny having to take a spot kick twice in the shoot out. Heartbreak too for the 13B's, edged out from the spot in the 13 Division 1 Plate Final at Newtown. Defeat too for Town's 14's in the Alliance League, losing away at Brookfield. Town's 9B's finished their season sharing the spoils with St. Anthony's, a 2-2 entertaining draw at the Community College bringing down the curtain on the year. Match reports on all games to follow late Monday evening.
