Sep 19 National Cup double header at Lamberton
Our U13A side entertain Dublin side Broadford Rovers this coming Saturday at Bridgewater Centre Park, Lamberton in the Troy Cup with kick off at midday.  It will be the first of two key National Cup games to be played at Lamberton as immediately after the 13A side finish our U14B side face Kildare side, Kilcock Celtic.

Diarmuid Larkin, set to face Broadford Rovers this Saturday. The U13A side have played one solitary game so far this season, on the opening weekend of the season, when defeating St. Anthony's in the WDSL Premier Division.  Diarmuid Larkin (pictured left), one of the Town's goalscorers on the opening day, will once again be keen to find the back of the net against their Dublin oponents.  The U14B side meanwhile seek a confidence boosting  first win of the season after opening their WDSL campaign in Division 1 with two defeats.  Both teams would appreciate your support on the day.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, both U13B and U14A sides enter into National Cup fray, with the 13s set to travel to Bray to face Ardmore Rovers in their Troy Cup tie.  Brendan O'Shea, in his first season with the Club, caught the headlines in last Monday's Evening Herald, when scoring twice in a 5-1 win for the B side, will once again be hoping to grab the headlines.  The 14A's play host to Firhouse Carmel at Bridegwater Centre Park, Lamberton with a 1.30pm kick off time.  The 14s have yet to play a competitive game this season and have not kicked a ball in earnest since winning their competition at the Spooner Ryna tournament down in Tipperary last month.  Kyle Dowling (right) will no doubt be looking to get in amongst the goals oncemore.  Kyle Dowling

Sep 18 The quest for victory set to begin
The first step on a potential long road begins this coming weekend for a number of our 11-a-side teams, with the beginning of their bids for National Cup glory at the various age levels.

George Horsman The U12A side who have begun their WDSL campaign in fine fettle, scoring eight goals on their two outings to date, with both Ryan Murray and Shane Walker finding the back of the net with lethal efficiency.  George Horsman (pictured left) is one of a few players who has stepped up from the B team to the A team over the summer and he'll no doubt be relishing the challenge ahead as Town face Kildare side Kilcullen in the Norton Cup on Saturday.  The U12B side entertain Dublin side Sacred Heart at Bridgewater Centre Park, Lamberton on Sunday with a midday kick off.  It would be great for the lads if people could come along to support them.
